Holiday Farms

Date: 2012

Location: Woodstock, Vermont, USA

Project Type: Community-based workshop, architectural installation with video projection

Site: Historic Home

In Partnership with: Doing Good Well and CIVA

Description: Art professionals from across the country gathered for one weekend on a farm in Vermont to discuss professional practice. During breaks, we sat outside under old maple trees making pictures of the building and environment. The drawings, collages, and sculptures submitted form the base of the video installation. Both as parts and wholes, the personal interpretations were subject to the physicality of the place. The making and unmaking of the images questioned the function of our individual and collective mark making.
