Sauls Street
Date: 2015
Location: Lake City, South Carolina, USA
Project Type: Installation with video projection, puzzle scrambler/artist multiple
Site: Vacant, historic business at 128 Sauls Street
Juried Exhibition: ArtFields
Description: A stack of perfect cubes sits in a vacant building. Projected onto them is a video of white boxes being stacked. Does it ever line up? Does it matter? When the white light hits the white boxes, it is easier to see the colors. When we give it time, the uncertainty becomes beautiful. This new series of work is inspired by the economic principle of creative destruction and the meaning of meaningful work.
